ADULTS

Discipleship Groups

Our Sunday morning and Wednesday night adult Discipleship Groups are designed to help you grow deeper in your faith while building meaningful relationships within our church family. We offer a variety of classes for different age groups and life stages, allowing each group to learn, discuss, and grow together in a setting that feels both welcoming and relevant.

Each class is centered on biblical teaching and thoughtful conversation, creating space to ask questions, share insights, and apply God’s Word to our lives. Whether you’re navigating young adulthood, raising a family, or entering a new season of life, these classes provide encouragement, accountability, and community as you continue your walk with Christ.

No matter where you are on your faith journey, you’ll find a place to belong and grow through our Sunday morning adult classes.

Senior Adults

Young at Heart is our vibrant senior adult ministry designed to foster fellowship, encouragement, and joy in every season of life. We typically gather on the second Monday of each month for meaningful connection, a meal, laughter, and shared experiences.
Throughout the year, we also enjoy day trips and occasional overnight trips that give us opportunities to build friendships, explore new places, and continue growing together in faith and community.

No matter what season of life you're in, whether you're an empty nester, retired, or wherever you find yourself, there is a place for you in our Young at Heart ministry. For more information, please contact the church office.

GriefShare

What is GriefShare?
At GriefShare you’ll receive valuable guidance and tips, leading you to relief, comfort, and peace of mind. GriefShare support group is a safe, welcoming place where people understand the difficult emotions of grief. Through this 13-week group, you’ll discover what to expect in the days ahead and what’s “normal” in grief. Since there are no neat, orderly stages of grief, you’ll learn helpful ways of coping with grief, in all its unpredictability—and gain solid support each step of the way.
There’s no “right way” to grieve
Feeling angry or full of regret? Are you depressed and wondering how to heal? Do you walk around in a mental fog? All this is normal. And while your grief journey is unique, you’ll find many grieving people are facing the same struggles. And others who’ve gone before you can help.
Finding support is crucial
Grief is a journey that shouldn’t be traveled alone. You may feel like no one understands and be tempted to isolate, but as counselor David Bueno Martin says, “Healing happens in the context of finding others who can help you.” A GriefShare group is a safe place to find support.
Grief cannot be rushed
You may wish you could bypass the difficult emotions or push down the pain. Or maybe others are pressuring you to “get up and move on.” But healing from grief and loss requires you to go through your grief. We have resources that can help you find relief and stability
What happens during a typical group meeting?
Each week you’ll view a 30-minute video on a grief-related topic, featuring valuable insights from counselors, pastors, and others who’ve lost a loved one. Then your group will discuss the video and how it applies to your lives. You’ll also receive a book with helpful tips and exercises for personal support throughout the week.
We also have a Surviving the Loss of a Spouse session and a Surviving the Holidays session.

We saved a seat for you.

Missions

Our Missions Ministry exists to fulfill the Great Commission by sharing the love and truth of Jesus Christ both locally and globally. Through prayer, giving, and hands-on service, we partner with missionaries and organizations that are advancing the gospel and meeting real needs. We believe the church is called not only to gather for worship, but to be sent into the world—serving our community, supporting global missions, and living out the gospel through both word and action.

Some of our mission partners include Senda de Vida in Reynosa, Mexico, Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan's Purse and Ever Reaching Community Outreach right here in Pelahatchie, Mississippi. We also support the North American Mission Board and International Mission Board through our giving. If you would like more information on how you get involved and serve with these ministries and other ones, please contact the church office.
